Senior Midfielder Harrison Kline broke the Kilbourne Lacrosse record for most face-off wins in a season last night (5/21) in the Wolves' OHSAA Tournament game win versus New Albany.
In the game, Kline notched the record breaking face-off win and for good measure took the ball down and scored on the play as an exclamation point. Kline's total now stands at 276 through May 21, 2021.
Kline is a 4-year letter winner for Kilbourne Lacrosse. He is attending Miami University in the fall.
The Wolves won the game over New Albany and advanced to the OHSAA Region 3 Semifinals against St. Charles. Kline has at least one more chance to extend the record.
The record was previously held by Tae Young-Kim (260) in the 2011 season. Young-Kim and Kline have a connection together. Young-Kim played at Ohio State University and then returned to Kilbourne to serve as the faceoff coach for WKHS for years. Young-Kim mentored Kline through his sophomore season at WKHS.
Congrats Harrison & Go Wolves!
