Future Looks Bright for Young Wolves!

Kilbourne JV had a very successful season and completed the year with a (9 -5)  record overall.  By record it was the most successful JV season for the Wolves in 3 years.

Offensively the JV Wolves were lead by Nicholas Richards (17G, 14A), Zach Zimmerman (16G, 13A), and Tommy Bussard (15G, 2A).

The other half of the Bussard duo, freshman Tyler Bussard, started to emerge as dominate at the faceoff X until  an injury ended his season.  He was 65% on FO with 34 groundball pickups.

Defensively Kilbourne JV were lead by Captain Luke Walton, Drew Garrison and goalie Zach Cahill.

Coaches Rennillo, Miller, Tabler and Buxton helped develop and guide the Wolves.  The coaches remarked that the leadership, love for the game, and knowledge the team brought to the field everyday was top tier.

Several of the JV Wolves are continuing to practice with Varsity as the Wolves head into the OHSAA tournament now.  With a large senior class graduating soon, it will be up to the young Wolves to continue to develop over the next year and will be expected to step up next season to help continue the strong legacy of  Kilbourne Lacrosse.

Coach Miller expressed that he and fellow coaches feel lucky to have this group building the foundation for future Kilbourne Lacrosse success!
