The 2019 Worthington McCord Middle School lacrosse season was a successful one for the Wolves.  The McCord  Wolves A team ended up with a record of 11-4-2,  while the McCord Wolves B team finished the season 7-3.

Both teams entered into the middle school state tournament held at Dublin Scioto HS last weekend, and both teams went 2-1 respectively in their brackets.  Wolves A earned a #6 seed in the Red, Division I bracket.  The squad lost a close opening contest with Wadsworth 9-8, before rallying to beat  Bay Village 13-9.   In their final game,  Wolves A  beat Mason 7-2 to take home 5th place in Red, Division I and take 9th place overall in the state.

The Wolves B team was a #4 seed in Division VI.  Wolves B opened the tournament beating New Concord 10-0, then lost to Springboro B 8-2, but capped the season on a winning note by beating  Gahanna 6-3 to take 3rd place in Division VI.

Congrats to all the players and coaches.  Kilbourne Lacrosse is excited to welcome all the rising 9th graders to the high school next year!
